Join us on our most popular Grand Adventure into a near polar wonderland – a 3-day odyssey to witness the Earth’s Mantle, Moho, and Deep-sea crust, all revealed via an unparalleled geological phenomenon. (Yes, we will see the Mantle!) Echoes of ancient tectonic movements have revealed deep and hidden landscapes, where the Earth’s secrets are etched into the very fabric of the land.
We will spend 3 days (or longer) in the Canadian Near Polar Wilderness, emulating the Lidenbrock party who finally find the Arne Saknussemm entry down into the bowels of the Earth. This is a geologic and scientific Grand Adventure that will be a highlight for those who are fans of the 19th Century genius Jules Verne
Here, amidst the rugged beauty of untamed wilderness and landscapes, we journey down in time, through ancient ocean floor, past the Mohorovicic discontinuity, and into the first few miles of the Earth’s Upper Mantle – all brought forth by nature’s relentless motion, flow and power. Like the Professor Lidenbrock party, we follow in the footsteps of Arne Saknussemm (A.K.), on our own Journey towards the Center of the Earth!
If you are interested in either of these expeditions, please contact us at CustomerCare@JulesVerne.Tours. These will be scheduled when we reach a minimum number of clients OR if you wish to schedule this as a Private/Group Expedition!
Iceland: Prof Lidenbrock party searches for the Arne Saknussemm entry into the Earth (2-3 Days) $599/Day
100 Miles Deep into the Mantle: Diamonds and other Gems” (2-5 Days). $399/Day”.

“A Thrilling Journey to Earth’s Mantle!” by AdventureSeeker101

Everyone thinking a trip to the Mantle/Moho isnt possible. Well it is, for the clever – like Jules Verne Tours. Sort of like everyone who believes “Dinosaurs went extinct!” (no, birds are dinosaurs!). Iceland: Prof Lidenbrock party searches for the Arne Saknussemm entry into the Earth Tour, to get into the spirit of things. Amazing adventure — of a lifetime! Inspired by the fantastic tales of Jules Verne, our journey felt like a page straight out of a Jues Verne novel. Amidst staggeringly beautiful vistas, our knowledgeable guides made the complex scientific processes accessible and utterly fascinating. For anyone with a love for adventure and a passion for science, this journey is an absolute must!
An Enlightening Experience at the Moho and beyond!” by GeoEnthusiast_456
Rating: ★★★★★
As a geology student, the opportunity to explore the Mohorovičić discontinuity, or the “Moho”, was a dream come true. This expedition surpassed all my expectations, blending scientific rigor with the thrill of exploration in a manner that would make Verne proud. The Moho is a mysterious divider, a boundary between Earth’s crust and mantle. The team’s expertise illuminated every aspect of these mysterious geological layers. The highlight was the hands-on experience with the unique rock samples and the chance to contribute to real scientific research. The camaraderie among the explorers and scientists, all united by a shared curiosity and sense of wonder, made this experience truly enriching. I returned with not only invaluable geological insights but also memories that will last a lifetime.A “Deep Sea Adventure” Beyond Imagination!”

Imagine “descending” into the depths of the ocean, where few have dared to venture, to go deep into the crust – either under continent or ocean floor. past the Moho layer and actually going into the Upper mantle! – this expedition made that fantasy a reality! Who would have believed that the 19th Century Adventure writers would be fulfilled in the 21st Century? our journey took us through vistas nothing short of magical. The planet’s geological history left us in awe. Our expert Guides was a “plunge” into another world, full of wonders and discoveries that no others have recreated. We bought the add-on to go down to the realm of gemstones – diamonds, garnets, periodots etc… We estimated about 100 miles below the surface of the Earth. 600 Miles Down is for the more well-heeled. Essentially a private party, “luxe” thing.
