Regularly scheduled expeditions are generally held between June and October due to seasonality of these locations.

You can use this form to arrange your own private or group expedition. Customizations are available. We also offer "To the Ends of the Earth" expeditions. These are for the TRULE intrepid - hard to get to, amazing little-seen sites just for you (and priced accordingly). They generally involve charter flights, local guides and specialized transport. Often, local indigenous peoples are involved. In addition to those published here, there are some spectacular "off the grid" expeditions for the intrepid who truly want to go to the ends of the earth! Note that they are priced accordingly.

1) Private/Group Adventures, Arctic (Mantle, Ice Age, etc) or trips outside the USA. We use a per diem and “unbundled” model.

  • You will get yourself to/from the Adventure (and Passports/Visas (depending on where). We will advise about timing and details.
  • During the trip, you may be advised to prebook a rental vehicle, lodging or other things (as applicable). You will receive clear details when necessary. (It may be possible to use a travel agent/website for some Adventures.)
  • Understand anything in the polar/northern zones are expensive, so package deals charge you serious premiums on everything. Our method is also cheaper to you; so MORE people can enjoy these magical expeditions!
